Tagging nights with events
Label habits like a late meal or alcohol and measure their impact.
Updated 2026-06-28
Events let you label whole nights with habits — "Large dinner", "Alcohol", "Late workout" — and then see how each one shifts your metrics.
Create and apply a tag
- Open a session and add an event tag, or create a new event type with a name and colour.
- Turn on auto-apply for an event type to have it tagged onto new sessions automatically.
- Tags are reusable across every night.

Reading the impact
- With vs without — average ODI, heart rate, and CVHR for tagged nights versus the rest.
- Delta — the difference between the two cohorts (with − without).
- Carryover — how the effect decays over the 0–3 nights following an event.
Impact comparisons are observational — they show association across your own nights, not proof of cause. Treat them as hypotheses to test.
